Groton, S.D., native Pfc. Jasper Pray from the 1/147th Field Artillery, keeps ahead of a Kuwaiti defender in a friendly soccer match Oct 31. The 1st Theater Sustainment Command soccer team was invited to the Kuwaiti National Guard Base to play a friendly soccer match against the Kuwaiti National Guard Team, the champions of the Kuwaiti military league. "It was a good experience to play such a talented team," Pray said. "It was really nice to play on grass again. We'll get better the more we play and maybe we can come back again." The 1st TSC team was invited to Camp Tareer to play the Kuwaiti Military Soccer Champions on their home field, which is regulation size and has grass, instead of the Army team's field, which is two-thirds the size and is all dirt. The Kuwaiti's won the match 7-0.
