Petty Officer 1st Class Jeremy West, hospitalman, assigned to Joint Special Operations Task Force-Philippines, writes a prescription for a patient at a Medical Civic Action Project in the Campo Islam Barangay (community). While West writes, a member of the Zamboanga City Health Department translates his instructions to the patient. More than 1,300 individuals received medical and dental care at three events held here, Oct 27-29. The events were organized by the Armed Forces of the Philippines 3rd Civil Military Operations Company, based at Camp Navarro.
