Recruits of Mike Company, 3rd Recruit training Battalion, conduct leg lifts during the Circuit Course at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Sept. 29. Recruits were instructed to push themselves and test their limits so they got the most out of the workout. Today, all males west of the Mississippi are trained at MCRD San Diego. The depot is responsible for training more than 16,000 recruits annually. Mike Company is scheduled to graduate Dec. 11.
