150925-N-KK081-067 SAN DIEGO (Sept. 25, 2015) – Equipment Operator Chief Petty Officer Tomas Hennemann, attached to Amphibious Construction Battalion (ACB) 1’s Alfa Company, conducts a safety brief before building a sand ramp for the Improved Navy Lighterage System (INLS) Floating Causeway during Exercise Brilliant Zenith 2015 (BZ15). BZ15 is an assault follow-on echelon exercise designed to conduct ship-to-shore transportation of Navy cargo with the INLS Floating Causeway embarked on SS Cape Mohican (T-AKR 5065) and improve interoperability with Naval Beach Group 1, ACB 2, Expeditionary Warfare Training Group, Pacific and Navy Cargo Handling Battalion 1.
