GULF OF ADEN (Oct. 5, 2015) Gunner's Mate 3rd Class Charley Farless fires a shot line from the port bridgewing of San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23) during a replenishment at sea with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Pecos (T-AO 197). Anchorage is part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 15th MEU (15th MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
