A U.S. Army soldier assigned the Multinational Battle Group-East Joint Implementation Commission participates in a joint Administrative Boundary Line foot patrol alongside MNBG-E and Serbian soldiers Aug. 18, 2015, in northern Kosovo. MNBG-E is part of NATO's Kosovo Force peace support mission in the region. The JIC is responsible for monitoring the ABL and serving as a liaison between KFOR and the Serbian Armed Forces. The patrol was conducted by soldiers from KFOR and Serbia, and also included senior leaders from each organization. KFOR conducts patrols like this as a matter of routine, as an impartial peacekeeping force, in order to ensure compliance with U.N. Security Council Resolution 1244 and the Military Technical Agreement and maintain a secure environment for all citizens of Kosovo. (U.S. Army photo by Capt.
