Gen. Vincent K. Brooks, commanding general, United States Army Pacific and Maj. Gen. Charles Flynn, commanding general, 25th Infantry Division, salute the nation’s colors as they are presented to them at during the time honored tradition of Pass in Review of troops, on Weyand Field, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, Oct. 8, 2015. Family, friends and past 25th Infantry Division Soldiers gathered on Weyand field to witness the annual pass in review ceremony to honor the Division’s 74th activation anniversary which was celebrated with a with a weeklong of sporting events between battalions as they competed for the Guadalcanal Cup. The pass in review is a long standing military tradition dating back to when Baron Von Steuben arrived at Valley Forge and reported to Washington during the American Revolution in 1778. This year’s dedication was to the retirees Tropic Lightning Soldiers who have served with honor and devotion to their units and the nation. (U.S. Army Photo by Staff Sgt. Matthew G.
