Maj. Gen. Charles Flynn, commanding general, 25th Infantry Division and Allen Hoe, attorney of law and father of 1st. Lt. Nainoa Hoe who was killed in Iraq, salute the veterans from as far back as World War II, as they are being recognized by the 25th Infantry Division and the family, friends and other service members who attended this year Pass in Review of the 25th Inf. Div., on Weyand Field, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, Oct. 8, 2015. Family, friends and past 25th Infantry Division Soldiers gathered on Weyand field to witness the annual pass in review ceremony to honor the division’s 74th activation anniversary which was celebrated with a with a week-long of sporting events between Battalions as they competed for the Guadalcanal Cup. The pass in review is a long standing military tradition dating back to when Baron Von Steuben arrived at Valley Forge and reported to Washington during the American Revolution in 1778.
