ARABIAN SEA (Oct. 10, 2015) Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Rocky DeSanctis signals to pilots of an SA 330 Puma on the flight deck of Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47) during a replenishment at sea with the military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Carl Brashear (T-AKE 7). Rushmore is part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (15th MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
