Lex, a military working dog, during a building-clearance exercise Sept. 30, 2015, on Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. Boatwright’s unit is currently deployed to Kosovo with Multinational Battle Group-East, part of NATO’s KFOR peace support mission.
