Joseph Tofalo, commander of U.S. Submarine Forces, addresses guests and crew members of the Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarine USS Alaska (SSBN 732) during a ceremony in which Tofalo presented the crew the Alaska with the Battenberg Cup. The Battenberg Cup symbolizes the operational excellence of one ship or submarine in the fleet annually. Alaska was the first SSBN to ever win the award.
