Sgt. Bobo, a military working dog, and his handler Cpl. Connor F. Scott, search for simulated downed aircrew members during Blue Chromite 16 in the Central Training Area, Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 28, 2015. Bobo was tasked with tracking down the pilot and two aircrew members by picking up their scent and searching throughout a dense wooded area. Blue Chromite is a large-scale amphibious exercise that draws primarily from III Marine Expeditionary Force’s training resources on Okinawa. The location of the training allows participating units to maintain a forward-deployed posture and eliminates the cost of traveling to train. Bobo is with 3rd Law Enforcement Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF.
