Lance Cpl. Matthew T. Post, a military policeman, conducts a patrol in search of simulated downed aircrew members during Blue Chromite 16 in the Central Training Area, Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 28, 2015. Post, from Orting, Washington, was tasked with tracking down the pilot and two aircrew members and conducted the search throughout a dense wooded area. Blue Chromite is a large-scale amphibious exercise that draws primarily from III Marine Expeditionary Force’s training resources on Okinawa. The location of the training allows participating units to maintain a forward-deployed posture and eliminates the cost of traveling to train. Post is with Bravo Company, 3rd Law Enforcement Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF.
