151026-N-VD165-007 PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 26, 2015) A Sailor assigned to Air Department’s Crash and Salvage division observes flight operations on the flight deck of amphibious assault ship USS Boxer’s (LHD 4). Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), composed of Boxer, amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18), dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is conducting a Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) to test their ability to effectively respond to scenario driven events and perform as integrated unit in preparation for deployment.
