GULF OF ADEN (Oct. 29, 2015) U.S. Marine Staff Sgt. James Leach, right, serves Cpl. Cody Lambson his meal for the October birthday dinner aboard the USS Anchorage (LPD 23). Leach is a platoon sergeant with Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and Lambson is a scout with the 15th MEU’s Force Reconnaissance Detachment. Marines and Sailors celebrate their birthdays for the month of October with a steak and lobster tail dinner served by their staff noncommissioned officers.
