First Lt. Michael Bradley, 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, participates in the shuttle sprint Nov. 10 during the track and field portion of the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge Competition. The shuttle sprint was one of three track and field events Soldiers needed to pass to be eligible for the GAFPB. The other events included a one kilometer run and the hanging pull up, which is similar to the U.S. Marine Corps flexed arm hang.
