The final I-beam is lowered into place at the topping ceremony of the USARC/FORSCOM headquarters building at Fort Bragg, N.C., Dec. 3, 2009. The ceremony, which signifies the end of the internal structure of the building, was held just five days shy of the one year groundbreaking anniversary and four and half months after the first iron was placed. The tree symbolizes the strength of the building while the flag represents patriotism, supporting Soldiers and construction by an American company, in this case Hensel-Phelps.
