2nd Mobile Brigade, 25th Infantry Division

Sgt. Della Pugan, a chaplain’s assistant for 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, and Spc. Eyestlia Drake-Funderburk, a chaplain’s assistant with 2nd Battalion, 11th Field Artillery, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th ID, take part in a new realistic key leader engagement training Nov. 12 with Sgt. Nathan Price, linguist with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 715th Military Intelligence Battalion, 500th Military Intelligence Brigade, and Sgt. Daniel Yan, a linguist with Company B, 715th MI Battalion, 500th MI Brigade, who are acting as a translator and a foreign community leader. This new training method used to practice key leader engagement gives chaplains and chaplain’s assistants the chance to experience what it would be like to operate in a deployed environment.
