    151123-N-RN782-037: PHILIPPINE SEA (November 23, 2015) – Sailors assigned to the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40) man a fire hose prior to entering a simulated fire boundary during damage control training evolutions, Nov. 23. The drills are intended to train crew members in damage control techniques and promote readiness in case of an actual emergency. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance in support of submarines and surface vessels deployed in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility and is currently on a scheduled underway period.
