Members of the Thundercloud Singers perform a song in honor of Ho-Chunk Nation members who are veterans of U.S. military conflicts during the 38th Annual Veterans Day Pow-wow Nov. 7 at Volk Field, Wis. The Descendants of the Red Arrow, members of the Ho-Chunk Nation, gathered for the cultural celebration which began to honor the 28 members of the Ho Chunk nation who served with Company D, 1st Battalion, 128th Infantry, 32nd Division, during World War I. Over the years, the annual pow-wow has honored Ho Chunk veterans of all major U.S. conflicts since World War I. (Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs photo by Vaughn R. Larson)
