Brig. Gen. Carlos Alberto Nogueira, Argentina Army general secretary, encounters a friend from the Colombian air force Nov. 20, as he stepped off the plane in Tolemaida, Colombia. Nogueira, who was taking part in the Commanders Conference of the American Armies, was there to watch Colombian soldiers showcase air assault capabilities and rotary-wing airframes in Tolemaida, the home of Colombian army aviation, initial flight training, as well as an air assault and a special forces battalion.
