Senior army leaders from the Americas received medals for the first time as part of the Commanders Conference of the American Armies during a ceremony Nov. 20 in Tolemaida, Colombia. Shown here is Gen. Mark Milley, U.S. Army chief of staff (left), and Maj. Gen. K.K. Chinn, commanding general of U.S. Army South, both who attended as the United States representatives. The U.S. takes over from Colombia as the host for the next two-year cycle for the first time in 24 years. The CAA was founded in 1960 and is a military organization of 20 member armies from the American continents.
