NAVAL BASE KITSAP-BREMERTON, Wash. (Nov. 25, 2015) – Captain John Ring, commanding officer of USS Nimitz (CVN 68), congratulates Interior Communications Electrician 3rd Class Austin Craig during a frocking ceremony at Naval Base Kitsap-Bremerton base gym. Nimitz is currently undergoing an extended planned incremental maintenance availability at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility where the ship is receiving scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
