National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (NMCP) caretakers prepare grave sites for a disinterment Nov. 8, 2015, at the NMCP, Hawaii. The disinterment was part of a dignified transfer of the last unknown service members who lost their lives aboard the USS Oklahoma during the attack on Pearl Harbor more than 70 years ago. The remains will be transferred to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency where experts will begin an identifying process to help provide closure for family members of the fallen.
