Lt. Gen. George J. Trautman III, Marine Corps deputy commandant of aviation, speaks to the Marines of Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 40, Marine Aircraft Group 40, Marine Expeditionary Brigade-Afghanistan, Nov. 25, during his visit to see the aviation combat element assets in southern Afghanistan. Trautman visited many of the sections within MALS-40 to see how these Marines are helping keep aircraft working properly in support of missions throughout the area.
