A U.S. Marine crew chief with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 268 (VMM-268), Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command (SPMAGTF-CR-CC), scans the terrain from an MV-22B Osprey to ensure the landing zone is clear of obstacles during a live-fire training mission at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia, Dec. 8, 2015. The Marines fired the M2A2 .50 caliber machine gun during the training, maintaining skills to conduct assault support operations as part of SPMAGTF-CR-CC’s crisis response mission spanning 20 nations in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
