U.S. Marine crew chiefs with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 268 (VMM-268), Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command (SPMAGTF-CR-CC), expended hundreds of M2A2 .50 caliber machine gun rounds from the tail of an MV-22B Osprey during a live-fire training mission at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia, Dec. 8, 2015. VMM-268 is capable of conducting assault operations as part of SPMAGTF-CR-CC’s crisis response mission spanning 20 nations in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
