An F-16 Falcon pilot with the 77th Fighter Squadron, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., waits to take off for a training scenario during the Checkered Flag exercise Dec. 10 on the Tyndall AFB, Fla., flight line. The pilots are participating in a Weapon System Evaluation Program with the 53rd Weapons Evaluation Group in addition to the exercise.
