United States Coast Guard (USCG) crew members, assigned to USCGC Washington (WPB-1331), load a truck with supplies for delivery to Tinian and Saipan for Operation Christmas Drop at Naval Base Guam Dec. 18, 2015. Operation Christmas Drop is the longest-running humanitarian airlift operation in the world, and the longest ongoing U.S. military operation. In addition to delivering critical supplies and holiday gifts to the people of the Pacific Islands, Christmas Drop trains U.S. service members to airlift material to remote locations.
