Lt. Andrew Forester, Naval Base Guam chaplain assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 75, gives a toy to a child for Operation Christmas Drop at Saipan Dec. 20, 2015. Operation Christmas Drop is the longest-running humanitarian airlift operation in the world, and the longest ongoing U.S. military operation. In addition to delivering critical supplies and holiday gifts to the people of the Pacific Islands, Christmas Drop trains U.S. service members to airlift material to remote locations. CTF 75 is the primary expeditionary task force responsible for the planning and execution of coastal riverine operations, explosive ordnance disposal, diving engineering and construction and underwater construction in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
