Australian, U.S., British and Papua New Guinean service members visit the Bomana War Cemetery, Papua New Guinea, Sept. 27, 2015, to pay remembrance to fallen service members from WWII. The cemetery is home to over 13,000 service members who fought to prevent the Japanese Empire from taking Papua New Guinea in WWII. The U.S. service members are with Bravo Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force. The Australian service members are with 3rd Combat Engineer Regiment, Royal Australian Army. The British soldiers are with the Engineer Corps, British Royal Army.
