Philippine national police officer three Efrem Sissay instructs members of the Regional Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Detection Unit 9 on chemical compounds which make up homemade bombs at the Region Nine headquarters. More than 40 bomb squad officers attended a two-day course taught by members of Joint Special Operations Task Force-Philippines, covering basic techniques for recognizing ways to construct explosives.
