On Oct. 15, Pfc. Bryane Laning of Chandler, Ariz., and Spc. David Waterhouse of Waterhouse, Ariz., are in the process of removing the wheel and hub assembly as part of the Project Phoenix inspection. During the inspections these two mechanics with the 3666th Maintenance Co., 541st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 96th Sustainment Brigade, 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), were able to locate several cracked hubs during Project Phoenix.
