YOKOSUKA, Japan (Jan. 13, 2016) Sailors row the paint punt back to the pier after performing preservation maintenance on the sides of the U.S. Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The paint punt is primarily used for painting haze grey paint on the side of U.S. Navy ships. Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
