Sgt. Johnathan A. Morris explains to Lance Cpl. Benjamin A. Oka how to adjust the dials of his rifle combat optic on a range at Camp Pendleton, Jan. 20, 2016. A Combat Marksmanship Program was offered to the military police Marines in preparation for an upcoming deployment with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit. After the Marines’ RCOs were adjusted, they began their CMP shoot, shooting on the move as well as standing still. They shot at close range targets to perfect their weapons handling skill and accuracy with the M-16 A4 Service Rifles and the M-9 Beretta. Morris, from Greensboro, N.C., is a military policeman with Bravo Company, 1st Law Enforcement Battalion. Oka, from Milwaukie, Ore., is a military police officer with Charlie Company, 1st LEB.
