U.S. Army Spc. Jacob Thompson of Hoytville, Ohio, attached to Blue Platoon, Bravo Battery, 1-10 Field Artillery Battalion, provides security for members of the Wasit Provincial Reconstruction Team to a Forensic Evidence Seminar in Kut, Iraq, Jan. 14. The seminar, conducted by a 30 year FBI veteran, addressed how important forensics evidence is to criminal cases in Iraq, which tends to rely on confessions and eye witnesses.
