Airmen assigned to the 9th Airlift Squadron navigate a C-5 on the flight line at Vӕrnes, Norway, to deliver two CH-53 Super Stallion helicopters to the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade’s Aviation Combat Element Feb. 15, 2016, in preparation for Exercise Cold Response. The exercise will include 12 NATO allies and partner nations, and approximately 16,000 troops. The helicopters add to the growing number of Marine Corps ground and aviation assets filtering into the country to participate in the exercise.
