Gunnery Sgt. Ronald Strzalkowski, quality assurance chief from Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 464 (-) Reinforced readies the CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter to receive the main gear box during the rebuilding of the aircraft Feb. 17, 2016, in Vӕrnes, Norway, in preparation for Exercise Cold Response 2016. The exercise will include12 NATO allies and partner nations, and approximately 16,000 troops. The helicopters add to the growing number of Marine Corps ground and aviation assets filtering into the country in support of the exercise.
