Sgt. Nicholas Attikai leans out of an MV-22B Osprey belonging to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, to ensure the aircraft is clear to take off from the deck of the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), Feb. 12, 2016. Marines and sailors with the 31st MEU flew from the BHR to the Ie Shima Training Facility to conduct a vertical assault as part of amphibious integration training with the ships of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group.
