160222-N-VR008-007 SAN DIEGO (Feb. 22, 2016) Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Tiffany Parsons introduces panel members during the first Woman’s Leadership Symposium held aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA6). More than 100 Sailors attended the symposium to discuss naval opportunities for female Sailors. America is currently undergoing a post-shakedown availability in which the ship’s crew and assigned contractors make improvements to the ship’s design.
