U.S. Navy Adm. Kurt Tidd, U.S. Southern Command commander, is greeted by U.S. Air Force Col. Tidd assumed command of U.S. SOUTHCOM on Jan. 14, 2016 and is familiarizing himself with the various component services that make up a combatant command.
