EASTERN COAST OKINAWA (Feb. 21, 2016) – United States Air Force C-130 drops cargo for Marines, assigned to 3rd Force Reconnaissance, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and Sailors, assigned to amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42), to recover. Germantown is assigned to the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group (BHRARG) and is participating in a certification exercise (CERTEX) with the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU).
