Swiss Warrant Officer 2 Claude Bovet, a load master with the Swiss contingent deployed to Kosovo, prepares to take off in a Super Puma helicopter during a two-day, multi-ship aviation exercise held to test multinational crews’ ability to operate as one team and communicate with each other while in flight, Feb. 22, 2016, at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. The exercise was run by members of the Connecticut National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 169th Aviation Regiment in order to train the Soldiers who will take their place in Kosovo: the Arizona National Guard’s 2-285th Assault Helicopter Battalion.
