Flight crews from Croatia, Slovenia, Switzerland and the United States take off from Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo, during a two-day, multi-ship aviation exercise held to test the multinational crews’ ability to operate as one team and communicate with each other while in flight, Feb. 22, 2016. The exercise was run by members of the Connecticut National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 169th Aviation Regiment in order to train the Soldiers who will take their place in Kosovo: the Arizona National Guard’s 2-285th Assault Helicopter Battalion. The current rotation of National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers have been serving within the Multinational Battle Group-East Southern Command Post since June 2015. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
