The USS Somerset (LPD 25) positions itself off the shore of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton to launch amphibious assault vehicles onto a simulated contested beachhead, during a scenario-based, battalion-sized amphibious landing exercise, during Exercise Iron Fist 2016, Feb. 26, 2016.
