Eight five-man teams from across North Carolina gathered in Camp Butner March 4-6 for the 2nd annual Sapper Stakes competition hosted by the 105th Engineer Battalion, 130th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade. The teams tested their knowledge of demolitions, map reading, and weapons assembly, to name a few. They were also challenged physically with a 35 pound ruck-march, an Army physical fitness test, and an obstacle course.
