NORFOLK (March 8, 2016) U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense Robert Work, left, and retired Israeli Air Force Maj. Gen. Dan Harel, director general of the Israeli Ministry of Defense, tour the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Stout (DDG 55). The two leaders visited Stout to observe demonstrations highlighting ballistic missile defense and to discuss the unprecedented level of military, intelligence, and security cooperation the U.S. has with Israel to address new and complex security threats.
