Lt. Col. Kerry Goodman, a Meridian, Miss., resident and commander of 2nd Battalion, 198th Combined Arms, out of Senatobia, Miss., presents a certificate of recognition to Sgt. 1st Class Joseph A. Williamson, operations and safety NCO and fire warden for C Company, 2/198 CAB, out of Oxford and Indianola, Miss., during a ceremony here Jan. 20. The unit had no major accidents or injuries up to this point of its deployment, largely as a result of these safety representatives, said Goodman.
