Kenneth Blessant, an engineman assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall, rides a rigid-hull inflatable boat from Killick Haitian Coast Guard base to Gunston Hall. Gunston Hall, along with the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan, the amphibious dock landing ships USS Fort McHenry and USS Carter Hall, is supporting Operation Unified Response and is providing military support capabilities to civil authorities to help stabilize and improve the situation in Haiti in the wake of the 7.0 magnitude earthquake on Jan. 12.
