Britt Feldman, of Naval Base Kitsap Fleet and Family Support Center, helps a family member from Japan complete the necessary Navy Family Accounting and Assessment System (NFAAS) updates to facilitate assistance with needed services such as lodging, relocation, child care, transportation, phone contact information, and interpretation services. Feldman, other FFSC members and numerous Navy assets from Kitsap County have assisted with the arrival at Seattle Tacoma International Airport of the voluntary authorized departure of eligible family members from Japan on March 19-21, 2011 due to the devastating 9.0 magnitude earthquake that hammered the island of Honshu.
